PHASE 1 TICKETS INFORMATION

The early response for Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC 2011) tickets has been very strong. Fans from around the world have applied for more than 600,000 tickets during the first phase of ticketing.

Demand for some packs, particularly the Eden Park Pool Pack and the New Zealand Team Pool Pack, has exceeded availability. In addition, specific seating categories within other Venue and Team Pool Packs are also oversubscribed.

In cases where demand has exceeded availability, a randomisation process has been used to determine success of applications.

Below is some useful information for those who applied for tickets.

Payment
If your application has been successful or partially successful, your payment will have been processed. If you are a New Zealand resident and have chosen to use the RWC 2011 Payment Plan, the first of six instalments (plus the $25 administration fee) will have been charged to your card if your application has been partially or fully successful.

Please note that your credit card statement will show one or more charges from TICKETEK (RWC 2011 Ticketing's Ticket Agent). Payment was charged to your card in NZ$.

If your application was successful or partially successful and payment was unable to be processed for whatever reason during the processing period (eg: insufficient funds on your card), we will continue to attempt to process your application or endeavour to contact you to arrange alternative payment.

If you have provided new details to our Contact Centre please allow 10 -15 working days for your card details to be re-tried. We appreciate your patience.

The charge on your credit card statement may be less than the amount submitted in your application. This will occur in instances where your application is partially successful or where you have requested to receive the “next best available” category should your first choice not be available.

Confirmation emails/letters
You should have received notification of the outcome of your application during the first week of July 2010. If you have not provided an email address, or our email is unable to be delivered to your address, then this notification will be sent to you by standard post so please allow time for this.

If your application was not successful this time around, you still have several opportunities to secure tickets.

Individual Match Tickets
The Individual Ticket phase for RWC 2011 will commence on Friday September 10 2010.

Ballots for semi-final and Final tickets
If during the application phase you elected to enter the ballots for the option to purchase semi-final and/or Final tickets, please note the ballots are now expected to take place in early 2011. Further information will be published on www.rugbyworldcup.com/tickets in late 2010.
